Straight from the words of the man who explained it to me:
"We have this thing where we would say 'I love you' to each other.. or actually even before we said those words.. we started saying 'I like you' but then one day we just started adding "more than you know" at the end of those words and I like the idea of having "more than you know" engraved on the inside of the ring."
